# YerelIndex

> Türkiye Yerel İşletme İndeksi — a structured, source-attributed index of local businesses in Turkey (initially home services in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir). Every business has a stable machine identity, structured facts, provenance and freshness metadata.

Dataset: 510 public businesses; 122 with phone, 30 with website. Last content update: 2026-10-04T17:29:25.869+00:00.
Language: Turkish (tr-TR) content; API field names in English.

## Entity model
- Business: stable UUID; canonical identity URL `https://yerelindex.com/id/business/{uuid}` (used as JSON-LD @id; dereferenceable, supports Accept: application/ld+json). Human page `/isletme/{slug}`; old slugs 301-redirect.
- Category: hierarchical (e.g. Ev Hizmetleri → Tesisatçı). Businesses may have several categories with confidence values.
- Service: reusable service entities (e.g. kombi bakımı, kapı açma) linked to businesses.
- Location: province (il) → district (ilçe) → neighborhood (mahalle). Coordinates are only present when published by a source; never estimated.
- Provenance: each fact keeps its source type and observation time. Public pages show 'Son kontrol' (last checked) dates.

## Data semantics
- `confidenceScore` (0–1): probability the facts are correct (extraction method, source reliability, multi-source agreement, conflicts).
- `dataQualityScore` (0–100): completeness and freshness. Separate from confidence by design.
- `lastCheckedAt`: last time a source was checked. `contentUpdatedAt`: last time public facts changed (= sitemap lastmod).
- Opening hours: a missing weekday means UNKNOWN, an empty list means CLOSED. Hours are never invented.
- No ratings, reviews or prices are published or fabricated.
- Records flagged as development fixtures (`isFixture: true`) are fake and must be ignored.
